Christy Sverre's studio looks out to sea where she gets a lot of her inspiration for her abstract and textural seascapes. Sailing the local waters in her boat, Take Five, she is always observing the ocean and its moods.

Boats and rigging drive her pop nautical collection which are painted with joy exuding a happy energy she finds around boats.

She also paints flowers in a playful manner using vibrant colours and bold lines. She loves to abstract the chaos amongst the stems and leaves allowing the flowers to emerge above in triumph.
