I look at Armour's Beach from my studio window. The pilings shoot out of the water holding the logs in place to create a swimming area. I painted the water yellow to reflect the sun and the horizon indicates a small slip of land far off in the distance. The pool of water awaits the swimmers for the day. It's my abstract vision of a favourite place here in Gibsons.
